I’m baaaaack! After an emotional roller-coaster of a weekend, we placed third in our district at the National Student Advertising Competition. We were all a little disappointed that our first place streak didn’t last, but UCLA and USC really brought it this year and I can say that we were definitely given a run for our money.

Maybe the part that I am saddest about is that the people on the team for the first time this year didn’t get a chance to experience that same total euphoria that we did last year when we won. It’s a really great feeling to be acknowledged for 9 months of hard work, and I really wanted everyone on the Chapman team to know how talented and brilliant they are.

One good thing did happen – I won the Best Art Director award! A nice way to end my last moments as a member of Circle Advertising.

To everyone on Chapman’s team – I am proud of you, I love you, and I know that we will all do great things. Our campaign is the bomb.
