Maybe one of the top three things I am most excited about moving is that my bedroom will get a face lift! It’s always nice to start fresh and get reorganized. For the next two weeks I will be packing, packing, yard selling, packing, and making obsessive-compulsive mood boards.

I graduated.
It’s been a while, so since you’ve been gone, I’ve become a real adult and gotten an internship and graduated college and taken on some freelance work. Exciting times! I’m working as a design intern at The Branding Farm, an incredible interactive design studio in Venice Beach that has me doing some really cool work. And other exciting things are happening too that I will share with you soon enough!

I can’t believe how fast this year is flying by, and it’s totally scary/exciting/weird to think about how fast the rest of the semester will fly by too! Spring break is right around the corner, and from there weeks filled with Coachella dreaming, the National Student Advertising Competition in Las Vegas and pleeeeenty of designing will bring me right onto the steps of graduation! So crazy.

I recently had a bunch of my work photographed by the wonderful Jocelyn RC, a super talented photographer and filmmaker. Jocelyn is one of my great friends and a total happiness to be around and I had a great time staging photographs galore, checking out her apartment (named the Nerdplex!), and eating a delicious breakfast for lunch at Swingers in Santa Monica. Yummmm I wish I was eating that omelette right now. Thanks for a great day Joce!

So, here’s my favorite fun fact you may or may not know about me: last year, my friends and I won lifetime VIP tickets to Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival for decorating our car in the Carpoolchella contest. Right? Pretty cool.
The next month and a half is absolutely crazy, but in 54 days I’ll be dancing around the desert. Can’t wait.
Just missing my little sister Chelsea today. She is far from me and sometimes Seattle feels just a little too far.
